We are delighted to announce our partnership with a growing care provider who own a small portfolio of care homes within Jersey and the Isle of Man. Their comprehensive range of care services includes long-term, short-term, and respite care, addressing the needs of individuals in both nursing and dementia care settings.

My client is seeking a seasoned and encouraging Home Manager to assume responsibility for commissioning a new home situated in Port Erin on the Isle of Man. The Home Manager's role involves successfully overseeing the commissioning process, establishing a positive and supportive team of nurses, and ensuring the home reaches full occupancy with a blend of privately funded and locally funded residents. Building strong connections with residents, staff, and the local authority is crucial to create an outstanding reputation and fostering a positive work environment.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience as a Home Manager in a nursing and dementia care environment, demonstrating a proven and robust track record of effectively overseeing care homes. Tangible experience in this capacity is essential. Their responsibilities will include offering support and empowerment to an outstanding team of nurses, all while ensuring that the home operates in strict accordance with the guidelines set by the provider and external regulatory bodies.

The candidate is expected to possess strong leadership skills to build an outstanding care team and create an excellent work environment, whilst providing outstanding support to the staff. This, in turn, will inspire the team to consistently deliver the highest quality of care. The Home Manager will also be responsible for elevating the overall atmosphere within the home and cultivating strong relationships with external organisations.

Location
This role is based in Port Erin, Isle of Man. The provider is offering a £5k relocation package for the successful candidate

Summary
My client is in search of an experienced Home Manager who has a background in managing elderly care homes that offer nursing and dementia care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of the home and building up the homes occupancy and staffing team. My client is offering a £5k relocation package, as well as an attractive salary ranging from £65k – £75k per annum + 25% bonus.
