The Role

Compass Associates have partnered with a highly regarded care provider who operate a strong portfolio of nursing, residential and dementia care homes across the UK. With a new vacancy in the business, they are looking for an experienced Clinical Manager to join the business as a Registered Manager in the Glasgow area.

The Registered Manager will join a small to medium sized care home providing general nursing, residential and dementia care. Internal running within the home is excellent, with a loyal staffing team in place and plenty of good relationships for the new manager to run with.

Although not a turnaround position, there is lots of room to develop this home and the provider are eager to hear from candidates eager to drive quality care.

The Candidate

To be considered for the role, you’ll be an RGN with a background in care home management; either a Deputy Manager looking to step up, or a current Home Manager looking for a new challenge. It’s imperative you hold excellent knowledge of Care Inspectorate requirements, can successfully market the home and work with an open, transparent management style.

Staff well-being and development will be a high priority, along with ensuring care delivered is person-centred.

Interview Process

The interview process will be 2 stages.

The role is commutable from: Glasgow, Motherwell, East Kilbride, Cambuslang, Paisley, Kilmarnock, Stewarton, Strathaven, Coatbridge and Carluke.

Summary

My client is seeking a nurse qualified manager with a decorated background in elderly care home management to join a care home full of strong potential. Daily responsibilities will include; liaising with external stakeholders, audits and compliance, staff and budget management.
