The Role

Compass Associates are working with a private elderly care provider who operate a remit of care homes across the UK and are now looking for a new Home Manager to oversee the day to day operations for one of their services in Liverpool. Due to recent promotions within the business and a couple of successful turnaround projects completed, the business are now looking for a Home Manager to push this home forward ensuring high quality care for residents and commercial success in line with KPI’s.

The provider is looking for an experienced Registered Manager, preferably someone who has managed a nursing service, who can help drive on recent successes and create a positive culture to allow staff the opportunity to provide the best care possible. Although the service requires an experienced manager to help it progress, the home has a solid reputation across various stakeholders that add value to the already successful service.

The Candidate

The successful candidate must have registered management experience and managed an elderly care home that provides nursing care.

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to run a successful care home, with a positive staff culture and compliant in line with CQC requirements. This position requires a positive person who can motivate and empower a competent staff team, as well as being commercially savvy and ensure the service goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

This role is based in Liverpool and is commutable from Warrington, Chester, Wirral, Southport, Widnes, Ormskirk, St Helens and Runcorn.

Interview Process

The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.

Stage two: Face to face: Managing Director


My client is seeking a Registered Manager with exposure to management within a Care Home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £60k – £70k per annum + bonus & benefits.
