We are delighted to announce our partnership with a highly regarded small-scale care provider operating care homes in the North West of England. Their comprehensive range of care services includes long-term, short-term, and respite care, addressing the needs of individuals in both residential and dementia care settings.
My client is in search of an experienced and supportive Home Manager to take charge of their flagship care home, which specialises in providing residential and dementia care for the elderly. The home consistently maintains a high occupancy rates and high retention within the home. The primary goal for the successful candidate will be to foster strong relationships with residents, staff, and the CQC, thereby upholding the home’s exceptional reputation and cultivating a positive working environment.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate should bring extensive experience as a Home Manager in a residential and dementia care setting, with a proven strong track record of successfully managing care homes. Demonstrable experience in this role is crucial. Their role will involve providing support and empowerment to an exceptional team of carers while ensuring that the home operates in strict accordance with CQC guidelines.
The candidate is expected to possess strong leadership skills to maintain the excellent work environment and provide outstanding support to the staff. This, in turn, will inspire the team to consistently deliver the highest quality of care. The Home Manager will also be responsible for elevating the overall atmosphere within the home and cultivating strong relationships with external organisations, with the ultimate goal to continue achieving ‘Good’ ratings in future CQC inspections.
Location
This role is based in Stockport, and is commutable from Manchester, Rochdale, Macclesfield, Buxton and Warrington
