The Role:
Compass Associates are working alongside a valued client that operate across the UK, with a portfolio inclusive of both nursing and residential care homes. The business is hoping to add an experienced Home Manager to their team, who will be able to support a care home located in Newcastle and work closely with the team to deliver improvements.
This role joins a care home with a great community reputation, high occupancy and excellent foundations for a manager who wants to undertake a project. The business is keen to support where needed but will equally offer autonomy to allow the new manager to put their own stamp on the service.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will come from a background of care home management and be able to evidence their experience with CQC. They will have an attention to detail when it comes to writing care plans, be strategic with marketing and occupancy and be able to work to budget.
As a leader, the chosen manager will be hands-on and visible across the home and promote development opportunities for their team. They will forge fantastic relationships with residents and their families, along with bringing a transparent communication to local stakeholders.

The role is commutable from: Newcastle, Jesmond, Longbenton, Dinnington, Ponteland, Dudley, Wallsend, North Shields, Blaydon and Gateshead.
Summary:
My client is seeking a manager to join a care home providing nursing and residential care to elderly residents. In post, the manager will support and coach staff members to provide fantastic care and strive to create a wonderful environment for the residents. They’ll monitor compliance across the home and work with external stakeholders to ensure standards are met.
