Deputy Manager| Elderly Nursing Home

Salary: £47,000 per annum

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Hours: 40 hours **predominantly Monday to Friday supernumerary hours **

Qualification: RGN or RMN nursing pin essential

Compass Associates are working with a valued client who have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Lead, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager to work in their fantastic nursing home based near the Banbury area. This home provides care for nursing and dementia residents. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working in a nursing home environment, working as part of a multi disciplinary team, nurse management experience as well as having excellent teaching and mentoring skills.

The Candidate

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge with a caring and quality focused provider. The candidate is required to have an active NMC pin and have previous experience in the nursing care home and a passion for elderly and dementia care.

Requirements

– Qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN) essential

– Experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead is desirablebut my client will consider a strong Unit Manager seeking a step up

– Applicants such as a Clinical Manager from a NHS or a Community background welcome but must have some care home exposure

-Elderly/Dementia Nursing experience-Genuine passion for elderly care

Interview Process

There is a 2 stage interview process

Stage 1 – Interview with the Home Manager

Stage 2 – Formal interview with Home Manager & Regional Director

Location

This role is based near the Banbury area and is easily commutable from Alkerton, Brackley, Chipping Norton, Shipston-on-Stour, Moreton in Marsh, Silverstone, Kineton, Chipping Norton and Towcester.
