Deputy Manager | Elderly Care Home Salary: circa £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Location: Wanstead, East LondonQualification: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social CareRemit

Compass Associates are working with a valued client who have a fantastic opportunity for a an experienced Deputy Manager to work in their fantastic elderly care home based near the Wanstead area. This home provides care for residential and dementia residents. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working in a elderly care home, working as part of a multi disciplinary team, management experience as well a having a strong understanding of dementia care.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care required

NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care is desirable

2 years experience as a Deputy ManagerPrevious Care Home experienceElderly/Dementia experienceStrong Clinical assessment skills

Genuine passion for elderly care

There is a 2 stage interview processStage 1 – Interview with the Home Manager Stage 2 – Formal interview with Home Manager & OwnerLocation This role is based near the Wanstead area and is easily commutable from Woodford, Ilford, Barking, East Ham, Buckhurst Hill, Hackney, Chingford, Romford, Chigwell, Dagenham, Woolwich, Camden, Hornchurch and Loughton.
