Compass Associates are working with a leading care provider in their recruitment for an RGN or RMN qualified nurse. The home is a large nursing facility situated in Renfrewshire and they are seeking a caring individual with a keen passion for elderly care to join their team. The successful applicant would preferably have experience in dementia care; however, this isn’t essential.
The Role
The Dementia Nurse Practitioner will support, deliver, and coordinate person-centred dementia care and therapeutic interventions in a purpose-designed residential setting to improve clinical outcomes for those living with complex dementia presentations, working within a team of nursing, social care, psychology and wellbeing practitioners. An active NMC Pin & Minimum of 2 years practice experience in a dementia care community is essential for this role.
The Candidate
- RGN (active/clear pin).
- Ability prioritise workload.
- Experience with dementia residents.
- A good communicator and able to work well under pressure.
- A genuine passion for elderly care.
- UK Citizen,(This role is not offering Sponsorship)
Location
This home is situated in Renfrewshire and commutable from South Nitsahill, Priesthill, Cowglen, Darnley and Thornliebank.
Interview Process
This will be a one-stage interview with the Home Manager and a member of the HR team.
