Job Title: Community Lead Nurse – Complex Care at Home

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum + mileage

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Remote with oversight in Colchestershire, Suffolk, and Northamptonshire

Overview:

Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a leading complex care provider, seeking an experienced and motivated Community Lead Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to take charge of a small caseload of adult complex care packages, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care across Colchestershire, Suffolk, and Northamptonshire.

In this role, you will manage care coordinators and support workers, providing clinical leadership and guidance across 4 complex care packages. Reporting to the Senior Lead Nurse, you will oversee appraisals, ensure clinical excellence, and balance both hands-on care and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee the clinical management of 4 adult complex care packages, ensuring top-quality care is delivered at all times.

– Lead and support care coordinators and support workers, promoting best practices in patient care.

– Provide ongoing appraisals, and competency assessments

– Balance clinical and admin duties, with an emphasis on ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

– A Registered Nurse (RGN) with active UK NMC Pin

– Experience of working within a Complex / Critical care setting is essential, such as in the community, or hospital-based such as ICU, ITU, CCU, HDU, A&E, and Theatre

– Training in tracheostomy, ventilators, catheters and PEG feeds highly desirable

– Must have a clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
