Salary: £65k per annum + performance bonus

The Role:

Compass Associates are pleased to be partnering with a valued client that operate a successful portfolio of care homes across the UK, inclusive of nursing, residential and dementia care. The group are aiming to find a seasoned manager looking to turn their experience to commissioning their own, brand-new care home in located North Ayrshire.

This project will allow the new manager to build a cohesive, caring team and slowly introduce new residents into the service. Once open, the care home will boast a cinema room, café, beautiful landscapes and dining rooms to provide both a homely and luxurious feel. Forging relationships in the area will be essential to the success of the home, the new manager will be keen to introduce themselves and partner with external stakeholders.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will either come from a clinical background or have experience managing a nursing care home, with a track record of managing teams of nurses. They will have worked closely with CI in the past and understand the importance of compliance. An ability to market and drive occupancy will be essential to the growth of the home.

In regard to leadership, the manager will champion coaching and development opportunities for all staff and foster excellent communication.

The role is commutable from: Largs, West Kilbride, Saltcoats, Kilwinning, Greenock, Kilmacolm, Irvine, Stewarton, Port Glasgow, Troon and Prestwick.
