The hospital covers a wide range of specialties including orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynaecology, general surgery, ENT and vascular to name a few. They also have a private GP service, diagnostic imaging department, dedicated cardiology clinic and a specialist eye clinic on site! They provide services to both NHS and private patients working closely with local trusts to reduce waiting lists.
They now have an opportunity for a Clinical Services Manager to join their senior management team overseeing both the ward and their pre-assessment / outpatients department.The Candidate / Position
As Clinical Services Manager, you will report directly into the Director of Clinical Services and work as part of the hospitals senior management team. You will oversee the 18 bedded ward, outpatients and pre-assessment departments strategically planning the clinical services by providing clear direction and leadership to staff.
There is a total of staff including experienced Lead Nurses who are dedicated to both the Ward and the Outpatient Department who will oversee the day to day running of these areas. You will have full responsibility for the deployment, supervision and teaching of staff within these areas however, ensuring that they are achieving and exceeding CQC standardsRequirementsRegistered nurse with NMC registrationPrevious experience working at a Band 7 or similar level overseeing a clinical department
