At Compass Associates, we’re thrilled to collaborate with one of the UK’s top independent providers of specialist care, focusing on Mental Health, Neurocognitive, Learning Disability, and Nursing Care. Together we are headhunting for a Clinical Registered Manager for an exciting new service in Croydon, specialising in neurodegenerative disorders, mental health, acquired brain injury, and challenging behaviours.

As the Registered Manager, you will lead the service and ensure that patients receive the highest levels of care. You’ll have overall responsibility for service operations, financial oversight, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall oversight of the homes management including around Budgets, Quality, and Compliance
- Drive up occupancy
- Ensure the highest standards of care are provided at all times across the MDT
- Implement and maintain best practices in social care.
- Connecting with commissioners and relevant stakeholders
- Lead and inspire team members to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
Location
Located in Croydon, this service provides convenient access throughout South London, including Fulham, Brixton, Battersea, and Clapham, with easy connections to the Northern Line.
Criteria:
- Experience in a management or deputy management capacity within complex care or Mental Health
- Active NMC pin and Full Nurse Qualification (RMN or RGN)
- Desirable knowledge of social care environment
- Extensive understanding and experience in improving the Care Quality Commission ratings and standards
- Further education in dementia care is desirable.
- Performance driven
- Clear DBS / CRB
- Able to build new relationships with commissioners.
