Job Title: Clinical Lead- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Services
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 4 days on site, 1 day remote

Overview:
Compass Associates is excited to be recruiting for a Clinical Lead/Senior Counsellor to join a leading provider of Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) services. This hybrid role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and direct client interaction to ensure the highest standards of clinical care across multiple contracts.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management to oversee a large operational team while ensuring users receive professional and appropriate support. It involves direct client counselling, supporting remote counsellors, and maintaining robust clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure services meet high standards across multiple EAP contracts.
- Provide guidance to employed and self-employed remote Telephone Counsellors.
- Engage in client work, including counselling, support, and customer service.
- Lead the hiring and training of new counsellors.
- Provide clinical supervision and manage complex cases.
- Audit case notes, oversee clinical outcomes, and offer on-call cover as part of the senior management team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in workplace counselling (EAP or NHS preferred).
- Full BACP Accreditation.
- Strong leadership experience, with knowledge of clinical pathways, trauma therapy, and performance management in a commercial setting.
