Are you looking for one of the most rewarding opportunities in your career?
If this is you, we'd love to talk to you?
Compass Associates is delighted to be partnering with one of East Anglia's most well-established and respected children's hospice providers to headhunt dedicated Nurses to join their nursing team at their small children's hospice in Cambridge.
This Children's Hospice is committed to providing outstanding care and support to children and young people in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk who require hospice care due to life-threatening medical conditions. As a result of this level of outstanding care, all three of the charity's hospices have been rated Outstanding by the CQC, and HRH The Princess of Wales has become their Royal Patron. Families have more freedom and choice over the treatment their children get, including where they die: at home, in the hospital, or at one of their hospices.
As a dedicated Children's Hospice Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide some of the most rewarding forms of nursing care you will ever encounter in your nursing career, as well as to provide children in your care who are considered seriously ill and may only have months left to live a normal and rewarding life as possibly possible. You do not have to be a registered children's nurse to apply, and we welcome applications from Adult, Children's, and Learning Disability Nurses.
- Hold a valid NMC registration, free of restrictions and NMC cases.
- Degree level qualification in nursing including RCN, RGN or RNLD
- Minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience
- Desirable experience with Tracheostomy or ventilator care
As a Children's Hospice Nurse, you will be based in a small children's hospice just outside Cambridge, which has excellent commute access to Cambridgeshire and adjacent regions such as Ely, St Ives, and Bury St Edmunds.
