Compass Associates is excited to collaborate with an independent provider of inpatient Mental Health and Wellbeing services in North London. We are seeking a dynamic Charge Nurse for their 26-bedded male rehabilitation service in Harrow. This service is dedicated to the rehabilitation of individuals with severe and enduring mental health illnesses, adopting a fresh approach to deliver outstanding treatment while placing the individual at the centre of care.
The service aims to integrate users into a pathway that emphasizes community rehabilitation, assisted living, and independent living. This approach minimizes inpatient stays, focusing on improving functional wellness and overall quality of life.
As a Charge Nurse, you will report directly to the clinical services manager and oversee the line management of RMN/RNLD nurses and support workers. Working within a multidisciplinary team, including Speciality Doctors, Psychologists, Nurses, and Occupational Therapists, you will share responsibility for assessing, planning, delivering, and promoting mental and physical health. Additionally, you will conduct clinical audits, contribute to the development of junior nursing staff, and act as a clinical role model.
- Valid registration as an RMN or RNLD nurse.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience, including supervisions.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Valid NMC registration with no restrictions or open cases.
- Clear DBS.
Salary and Corporate Benefits:

Candidates will undergo a one-stage interview at the service near Harrow, joined by two members of the senior management team. Evaluation will focus on experience in a Mental Health setting, as well as management skills, including clinical audits and supervisions.
