Area Manager – Children's Services
Location Remote with travel in Midlands
up to £65,000
Are you an experienced Children's Multi-Site Registered Manager seeking a rewarding role in the care and well-being of children?
Are you an Regional Manager wanted to progress and grow within a provider?
– Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to a portfolio of children's residential homes within the Midlands region.
– Ensure that the homes are compliant with all relevant regulatory standards, including Ofsted requirements.
– Implement and maintain high-quality standards of care, ensuring that the well-being and development of each child is prioritized.
– Collaborate with Registered Managers and other staff members to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
– Monitor and evaluate the performance of the homes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
– Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance, quality, and adherence to safeguarding protocols.
– Support and mentor Registered Managers, offering guidance and assistance to help them excel in their roles.
– Develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, social services, and regulatory bodies.
– Previous experience as an Operations/Regional Manager within the children's residential care sector or an experienced multi-site Registered Manager looking for career progression.
– Has held a Ofsted Registration and have a proven track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
– A strong understanding of the specific challenges and requirements involved in providing residential care for children.
– Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with staff, children, families, and external agencies.
– A commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of children and young people.
– A full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Midlands region.
Monday to Friday managing your own diary, they are looking for a visible manager to work 3 days in services 2 days work from home.
