Compass Associates is privileged to be working alongside a leading provider of Eating Disorder and Mental Health Care in the UK in their search for a Ward Manager in the Rotherham area. The organisation traces its roots from the South Coast region and is steadfast in their expansion focussing in the North.
We are keen to speak to experienced Ward Managers looking for a new career challenge, the role will involve working and setting up a brand new small bedded Eating Disorder and CAMHS service.
Working closely and reporting directly to the Hospital Director, you will assist with the commissioning and development of the hospital, you will be responsible for ensuring that the nursing team possess the skills, knowledge and motivation to offer and deliver the highest quality of care to the service users.
The Ward Manager role is based in the Rotherham area and is commutable from Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Chesterfield and Worksop area.
– Nurse Qualification (RGN, RMN, RCN or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin
– Extensive hands on, management experience
– Experience managing in a CAMHS, Eating Disorders or Forensic Mental Health setting in the past essential
– Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong “can do” attitude
– Excellent understanding of the Care Quality Commission standards
– Clean DBS
Competency based – One stage with the Hospital Director, and another member of the Senior Management team
The salary for the Ward Manager position is between £40k – £42k depending on experience + 25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays, pension scheme, continuing professional development etc
