Job Description: Registered Manager – Homecare

Domiciliary Care Manager – Learning Disabilities                 
£30,000 – £35,000 p/a + additional car allowance    
Full-time, permanent    
Compass Associates are proudly working with a large national care provider who specialise in delivery of bespoke care services to adults with learning disabilities, Autism, challenging behaviours, complex needs and mental health needs, in a variety of settings including residential, supported living and community services. Our client approaches service delivery with very strong commitment to the quality of care as well as use an individual approach to support. On behalf of the client Compass Associates are looking for an experienced manager to join the company as Domiciliary Care Manager for their branch in Stevenage. The branch supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the community and in a portfolio of supported living services.    
The successful candidate will manage the day to day operations of the branch, including managing care staff and administration team. You will be the key driver for growth of the business, actively seeking new referrals and marketing the service. You will build and maintain relationships with local authorities and stakeholders, attend meetings and forge positive bonds with service users and their families. You will lead internal quality audits and take action where required, leading investigations in more complex incidents. Working closely with Operations Manager, you will provide monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring effective use of resources and that the branch meets agreed KPIs.    
The candidate    
We are seeking an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people and delivering excellent care. The candidate will be financially astute and commercially aware in order to effectively grow the branch. The candidates are required to have outstanding organizational and communication skills as well as proven leadership skills.    
Requirements (Essential)                    
  • Experience running successful domiciliary care branch
  • Previous or current CQC registration would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Driving licence and own vehicle
  • NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management or Registered Managers’ Award (NVQ level 4) in Health and Social Care
The branch is located in Stevenage and is commutable from Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Bedford, Letchworth, Potters Bar and surrounding areas.    
My client is looking to pay £30,000 – £35,000 dependant on experience and qualifications, the salary is paired with additional car allowance. The client offers an opportunity to work for a highly reputable company, with clearly defined career path and some excellent benefits.
