£45,000 – £47,000 + Additional Benefits

The Candidate      
The successful candidate will be an experienced Practice Nurse and must be registered with the NMC and have 2 years’ experience with at least 1-year recent experience within a primary care or community nursing environment. You will have a hunger to work alongside like-minded professionals to achieve an outstanding quality of care to the surgeries patients. You will be experienced in achieving CQC expectations and achieve clinical guidelines set by the practice.        
Part of your role will be to support the Surgeries GP’s as well as the HCA’s and phlebotomists in implementing the surgeries strategies. You will be passionate to share your skills and knowledge with your colleagues so it vital that you have strong oral/ written communication and organisational skills to support this.Experience in Asthma/ COPD/ Respiratory is absolutely essential – any further qualifications would be desirable.      
Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work across a variety of sites, so it important that the successful practice nurse has a flexible and pro-active approach. The opening hours for these surgeries vary from 07:00 until 20:00, however my client can offer flexible work patterns to support this.      
As the company is still in its infancy there is plenty of opportunity for progression and personal development. As the organisation grows and expands into new areas there will be an opportunity to move into a management/supervisory role and to build up your portfolio with training in different specialism’s. This role would be fantastic for a Practice Nurse who is career minded and looking to get involved in the future of healthcare.           
  • Registered Nurse currently registered with the NMC
  • NHS Primary Care Experience (Practice Nurse) – ESSENTIAL 
  • Experience of management within Cardiovascular and / or Respiratory conditions in Primary Care
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience and at least 1 year recent primary and community nursing experience
  • Involvement in implementing and using protocols and clinical guidelines
  • Tech orientated 
  • Strong Oral Written Communication and organisational Skills
  • Problem Solving and analytical Skills
  • Ability to Work as Part of a Team
  • Experience in undertaking audits
