Compass Associates are working with a growing business that operates a small – medium sized portfolio of Care Homes across Scotland. The company are well established within the sector, they’re financially stable and have set a good platform with their current homes to allow an expansion plan in the future with new homes in pipeline. My client is looking for a Home Manager to oversee the running of a medium sized, brand new Care Home that provides nursing and some dementia care for elderly people. The home is beautiful and very grand inside, offering some high-quality facilities. The home is very well known within the local community and has some great connections with other external stakeholder’s. The remote setting offers stunning views and scenery.
    
The Candidate  
My client is looking for someone who is a current Home Manager of an elderly Care Home who has experience with running a fully compliant Care Home in line with CI requirements. We are looking for someone who has a passion for care and wants to develop themselves as a high-quality Home Manager.  
   
The perfect candidate will have a good knowledge and understanding of CI regulations within the Care Home sector and prove that they can successfully manage a staff team to ensure that the home provides high quality care for its residents.

  • High level of CI knowledge
  • Good leadership skills
  • Ability to improve staff morale
Location          
This role is based in Grantown and is commutable from Banchor, Inverness, Dalmigavie, Aviemore, Ballindalloch, Rafford, Littlemill, Dufftown, Elgin, Newtonmore, Tomatin, Nairn, Huntly, Braemar and Fochabers.
           
Interview Process          
The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.           
           
Stage one: With the Managing Director and the Operations Director (Informal)
 
Stage two: Formal interview with Managing Director and Operations Director
           
Summary          
My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to elderly care, where the successful candidate is able to lead and inspire a team to provide high quality care. In exchange, my client is offering a £50,000 – £55,000 salary.
