Clinical Services Manager – Outpatients Department – Private Surgical Hospital
£40K – £50K – Experience Dependent

Compass Associates are excited to working with a respected and leading private hospital in Manchester, on the search for their next head of their outpatients department. This Manchester based hospital is a recognised specialist in Orthopaedics, Cosmetics, Endoscopy, ENT, Physiotherapy and Diagnostics.
This 17 bedded / 2 ward hospital has 3 laminar flow theatres, an endoscopy suite, physio department and imaging department. The outpatient department runs Monday – Saturday and consists of 10 consulting rooms, 2 pre-op assessment rooms and a treatment room.

The Role / Candidate
You will head up the hospital’s outpatient department, working closely with the head of clinical services to ensure smooth running and excellent service levels. You will have a track record of achievement in managing and leading staff members in an acute environment. You will be experienced with working in a pre- and post-operative care environment and have high standards for patient safety and satisfaction.
Particularly important will be your ability to quickly understand the clinical challenges facing the hospital and build excellent relationships with internal customers (such as Consultants) and external bodies. You will have a thorough understanding of evidence-based practice and a track record of implementing these practices in a clinical setting.
- Strong Clinical background in an acute setting
- Experience in Private or NHS Healthcare Management
- Proven management and leadership capabilities
- Experience in production of department rotas, budgets etc.
- Confident Communicator
- Interest and ambassador in Company values
Salary & Benefits
There is a salary on offer between £40K – £50K – this is highly dependent on experience.
