Great South Run for Homelessness Charity
When the leaves start to turn on the trees we know that Autumn is truly on it’s way, which means that the Great South Run is also not too far away.
This year we welcome a few new faces to the Business Challenge team alongside some old hands at the race. This is our fifth year of entering the challenge and our biggest running team to date. As always our charity committee discussed a number of good causes to support and have chosen Emmaus. To donate click here.
Emmaus was founded over 70 years ago in France in a bid to provide support to those who had lost their homes following the Second World War. The charity came to the UK in the early 1990s and has since created almost 30 communities throughout the country, all with the aim to provide more than just a temporary bed for the night.
Our runners will be taking on the challenging 10 mile course taking in Portsmouth and Southsea’s historic and modern landmarks including HMS Victory, Southsea Castle and Spinnaker Tower.
The race takes place on Sunday 20th October. If you would like to make a donation, please click here.
