Core Values Awards – Winners
On Friday, the whole of Compass Associates came together on Zoom to celebrate our annual internal Core Values awards – a peer recognised event which highlights the best examples of the Compass Associates Core Values in practice throughout the year.
The Director’s commented that it was fantastic to see such a breadth of nominations across all the teams and geographical regions, demonstrating the collaborative and supportive effort from all the staff.
The Core Values and Winners were:
1. Delivery of Service
WINNER: Jamie Barker
“Jamie has received multiple nominations in this category highlighting his pace, strong communication with clients and candidates; his hunger to impress and his desire to continually improve secured this nomination.”
WINNER: David Bland
“Stepped up to take on increased responsibility for all group marketing this year whilst also delivering marketing across the whole group single-handedly for circa 2 months. David is commercially sensitive, adapting to business requirements and seizing opportunities to add value in the short-term whilst still maintaining his usual high-quality output across the broader remit.”
3. Professionalism and Integrity
WINNER: Cassie Pay
“Professional, approachable, and always on hand to support the business, often going above and beyond her remit, Cassie’s commitment, strong work ethic and consistently positive feedback across the board have secured this nomination.”
WINNER: Stuart Cousins
“Stuart received multiple nominations for his management of the Babylon account, helping secure team members quality jobs and managing the client side to ensure the consultants can focus on delivering candidates – his patience and commitment were highlighted.”
5. Professional Development
WINNERS: Ani Abello and Sophie Taylor
“Sophie received a vast number of votes for her support and guidance over the last Financial Year, while this has resulted in a promotion the quality and quantity of her nominations were extremely impressive.”
“Ani received several nominations for her commitment to her work, her demeanour around the office and her personal investment both financially and in time pursuing an HR course. One person wrote ‘I haven’t worked with anyone so committed to improving their work and developing beyond internal training’.”
WINNER: Jon Burke
“When it comes to treating your desk like your business, Jon stands out – achieving a record personal best year. This was forged from going the extra mile to secure business and taking many calls out of core hours. Many of Jon’s nominations mention his assertiveness, drive, ambition and passion.”
