Core Values Awards Winners 2018!
In Quarter 3, we re-launched our Core Values to be more recruitment specific (with the inclusion of 2 new values that employees also felt represented the culture here) and launched our new peer-to-peer recognition initiative. It has been wonderful to see the nominations flooding in over the last few months; showing us how much our values are embraced and recognised across the business day-to-day.
As the financial year drew to a close, our Senior Leadership Team met to consider all the peer-to-peer nominations, coupled with their own observations from the last year, and at our End of Year celebration, Awards were presented based on the Core Values, with the winners receiving an Oscar-style trophy and £500!
Matt Sheppard, Consultant for our Care Home division won Delivery of Service. Matt received a variety of nominations in this category for a combination of reasons; including the execution of some exceptional work with a major not-for-profit elderly care home provider this year and the on-going development of both new and lapsed potentially key clients as we head into 2018/19. Despite his limited time with Compass having only joined the business August 2016, Matt has impressed with his commitment, process and attitude towards his work, and concludes his first year above target.
Sophie Taylor Senior Consultant for General Healthcare, was awarded for her commitment to Teamwork. Sophie has assisted incoming consultants alongside developing client relationships (both her own and new ones passed across to new consultants). Simply put, Sophie has been reliable, helpful and essential to the Division this year, receiving several peer votes for her help and advice.
Ani Abello Consultant for Specialist Services was recognised for her Professionalism and Integrity. Ani received several votes specifically relating to feedback from clients who have found her approach extremely refreshing in comparison to our competitors. Her levels of professionalism and honesty were highlighted by several peers across the business. Ani embodies this value day in day out.
Ben Cotton, Consultant for our Care Home division was delighted to have been awarded for his Professional Development. Ben received many votes for this category for two main reasons; firstly his commitment to completing his REC qualification, which he has now achieved, secondly, his commitment to developing his desk, reputation and personal brand. Ben has secured his best year in recruitment, career-to-date, through his professional development.
Our Divisional Manager for our Manchester Office Adam Brenton received the award for his Entrepreneurial Spirit. Adam received several votes in this category for his determination and ambition. He has won several new clients for the business, agreed excellent terms of business and finished above target in his first full year with us. Additionally, the Manchester Division as a whole closed the year over target. Adam has received at least one vote from each Division highlighting how widely recognised he is as someone consistently living this value.
Our final Core Value award was presented to HR Assistant Cassie Pay for her Flexibility and Adaptability. Cassie’s nomination is a result of the increased headcount and internal recruitment Compass Holding Group has conducted in 2017/18. Cassie’s role has been adapted as recruitment intensified, and this has required her to be flexible around the needs of the business. Cassie’s delivery to our internal processes has been invaluable and this has been recognised by peers and managers alike.
Congratulations to all our winners and nominees!
