Compass Associates were exclusively mandated to support in the search for an Operations Director for a leading, family-run elderly care provider.
This mandate had a quick turnaround process due to the urgency of replacing the current incumbent in post. Therefore, leading the client to approach Compass Associates to fulfil this mandate. This provider is a long-term client of Compass Associates and know that we would be able to support them as well as having a good understanding of the business requirements and needs.
The client required the ideal candidate to have previous nursing and operations experience, and preferably nurse experience or an NVQ Level 5 qualification. Previous extensive sector experience, such as managing 14-15 multi-service providers, was essential for this role.
After agreeing on a brief with the client, Compass Associates started screening candidates. One specific candidate we currently had in the pipeline looking for their next opportunity looked like a potential fit. They had the experience and qualifications required for the role and were looking for an opportunity like this role. As such, we presented them to the client who then invited them to a two-stage interview process.
This involved a telephone interview with the Recruitment Manager, followed by an in-person interview with the CEO. Both the candidate and the client’s senior management felt they were a good fit for each other and therefore offered the candidate the role who then accepted immediately.
This placement had a very straight forward process and had a turnaround process of one week, from start to finish, which saw us meet the urgent time frame proposed by the candidate.
