Manchester 10k for Mental Health Charity

22nd May 2019
At Compass Associates we have built a culture that encourages employees to take part in internal charitable events and to donate their time to good causes. We actively support any charitable event that employees identify and wish to take part in.  Three runners from our Manchester office (and Max's dad!) decided they wanted to take up the challenge of the annual Simply Health Manchester 10k.  The course takes you through the centre of the city, past Old Trafford and then back into the city centre. The team chose to support a small, local charity called Back On Track Manchester.  The charity's aims are to provide disadvantaged adults with the tools to make lifelong changes.  Their centre in the city offers a variety courses, work experience and support for anyone who has experienced homelessness, has mental health issues or struggled with alcohol or drug abuse.
